Where (and in what file) the Space Engine saves all the procedural stars generated and all other procedural stuff generated? Can i copy it to another computer into other Space Engine and work? (for portability of my space journey)

PC1: Intel Core i5-2320 CPU, 3 GHz, 8 GB RAM, AMD ATI Radeon HD 6840, 1024 Gb VRAM, 32 & 64-bit Operating System

The procedural star data isn't stored as a file. It's generated from fixed seed values that guarantees the same result every time. So no files to copy!

That means when you and I run the game, we both see the same universe. Pretty neat!

I believe there will be different procedural stars and planets though, with the release of v0.95. But it'll still be deterministic, meaning all copies of 0.95 will cook out the same universe.

pebble gives the right answer. SE generates all objects on-the-fly, and gives the same result every time it runs, and for every copy on every PC.

But every new version of SE has some changes in its generation algorithms, resulting in the change of the procedural universe. But I have an idea, in how to "protect the universe" against these changes, it will work when the SE online server have been launched.
