Sorry that you're having trouble with it, though your videos are quite nice.

Can you describe in what ways it is difficult? What camera modes are you using? Any suggestions for how it could be better? The functions, acceleration and rotation speed can also be custom set in the user config, if that helps.

First, incredible program. There is no other way to describe it. It's like a tool with no clear use, simply because defining it by using it seems to somehow constrain what it is possible of -- if that makes sense.

I'm not sure if the is the proper place for suggestions, but MoOoOo's problems remind me of my own.

For years I've been compiling rather similar looking clips to those created by SpaceEngine, created and rendered in Cinema 4D -- which certainly produces "photographic" quality video, and of course all cameras paths, angles, planetary textures, etc. are infinitely tinkerable, and repeatable, but at the cost of weeks-long renders, and a loss of what might pass for "accidental" finds, lucky blunders, and artistic spontaneity. SpaceEngine does it all on the fly, and what few rendering artifacts might be visible from time to time can usually be disguised by well placed "film glitches," burns, pixelization errors and such.

This would be my point, and it might be of help to MoOoOo and others - How about the ability to prepare vector camera (spacecraft) paths, with the ability to customize velocity over path, modify the path if needed, and the path would be savable and repeatable, should a re-render be needed.

A gimbal mounted camera with the ability to controllably and repeatably pan while its host "spacecraft" follows its path would just about put this old guy in hog heaven and give SpaceEngine.org unstoppable terabytes of exo-planetary system tours from my combination Indusrtrial Punchpress/SpaceEngine/HitFilm video-grinder!

If this has been covered elsewhere, my apologies. I've been poring through the forum , but I've not been everywhere, and as every human male knows, reading the instructions only reduces the amount of time which can be devoted to cheerfully making mistakes which could have been avoided BY reading the instructions.

Path editor might be implemented in a "planetarium dome" version, but I not sure when.
Editor of the "path" for a space ship will be apart of its interface in future versions. You will be able to plan the interstellar journey at varius level: from fully automatic (click and go) to almost fully manual (set up orbits, burn points and times, etc).

Hi,Watsisname.

Thank you for your patient to care of my question.

First of all,I'm totally a newbie to Space Engine.
I'm so amazed what Space Engine can do,and it's all free to use! wow!

About the control of the camera, I think it should be better if it support a pad contol,
like X-Box or Playstation controller. 2 stick and other buttons should cover all the control
of the camera, and more instinctive than a keyboard.

I've set the keyboard sensitivity all the way down to 0,
even I hit the button 1 time and release immediately,
sometimes it is still too sensitive for some scenes need a very nuance and smooth control.

Thank you for joining this thread big_empty_brain and SpaceEngineer.
I've realized that Space Engine is not a game, it's more like a tool to build a lifelike scene
for some video or image developer.

So,please take my question as anyone new to Space Engine,
and thank you for your eminent work on amazing SpaceEngine smile tongue smile

This will be in the next version

Also, you know you can use the mouse to rotate the camera and change speed, right?
