One of the most visited french website about video games has shown SpaceEngine recently and made a forum for it, I'm trying my best to make a community around it and keep it active but this is difficult since most of the people there are just trolls and aren't interested in any of this, but I'll try my best smile

one of the comments there:
"As a Physics teacher, I've used this while teaching space. The hushed awe when kids get the sense of scale of our solar system is beautiful"

I was seasick before reaching 35 seconds in the video, hoping that his arms would've spontaneously fallen off.

I wonder, is it so difficult to manage the GUI? If I were a casual watcher I think I'd have mixed feelings about the program.

Best advertisement? Make more tools for exporting or capturing environment. Scripts for camera movement, combined with timed exposure adjustments, and other pre-defined (by user) events. It might sound over the top, but still - SE is at its best when just letting you sit and watch. More people using SE as cinematics etc., equals more people interested to try it.
