Space is vast and big. We humans can not even comprehend the vastness of interstellar space. We are just a tiny blue dot in a cosmic sea. This movie is about are place in the cosmos. It is a movie of how tiny and insignificant we are, and it is also a personal tribute to Carl Sagan. Grab a cupe of joe and sit back and relax on the cosmic jurney.

Since you like Sagan, I made a Sagan avatar here that you might want to use: http://www.deviantart.com/downloa....rys.png
Or here's a different one of McCandless if you want to stick with that theme: http://www.deviantart.com/downloa....t7a.png

| That would be so cool and humbling! How can I get it featured on the main site?

| I shall contact him right away about my video getting featured. But I think he might dislike the 1 hour time of the video. But its worth a shot.

Well there are quite a few issues with it that would prevent it from being an official video demo (the 1 hour duration being the biggest). The large FOV makes many shots seem distorted, the use of labels in the opening solar system planet closeups detracts from the scenes IMO, as does the use of Real Planet Brightness (which is a feature that takes away from visual realism, rather than adding to it as you might think). Setting Stars Overbright to 0 would also aid in realism and in making more visually striking starscapes.
But overall it is a very nice video, good job.

| Yeah, 1 hour is too long. Demo video should be 5-10 minutes, max 20. Can you make a shorter version? There are many beautiful flights in this video, but them are too slow and long. You may simply exclude every second frame to make them 2 times faster.

| I can make another Space Engine movie. I will keep the speed of journeys in mind as well as length.

| I have just found and watched your masterpiece film. I can't tell you how much I loved it. I'm now addicted to endorphines. Being bit stoned surely helped.
I love SE, but wow what you did with this vid is truely a work of art. I wish everyone could see it. It should be on TV.
Where can I get the DVD or download it? I Must have this! It is beyond doubt, THE most beautiful tribute to Carl Sagan than I have ever seen. I think he would be deeply touched, and most definitely approve.
You have a great talent at this, n you should market this masterpice for television.
Thankyou so much.
If there's any change of getting either a DVD or a downloadable copy could you please email me at neon3003 at westnet.com.au ( u know to use the @)
Deeply appreciative,
Neon
