| Shouldn't this be posted on the image dump thread?
No sense in having multiple threads with screenshots

| I guess so..... but... I just had to make the comment about pretty planets...... everything gets lost quick in the image dump thread.

I don't know, I think the dump thread should be just a place to dump random images from space engine and discuss them, I think specifically themed threads should be allowed like this one or my "green athmospheres only" thread for those of us who want a little more order.
Nice pictures anonymousgamer, I agree, land formations have improved by 200% this version!

| Here is an odd terra with life that I found, it orbits a brown dwarf which orbits a binary star. The planet is tidal locked and has an average rotation/orbit of around 28 days. This leaves one side of the planet nearly frozen completely. What keeps the other side from suffering a frozen fate is that whenever night falls on the inhabitable side it stays facing the brown dwarf which basks it in a warm red glow which I assume keeps the habitable side from freezing during the nearly month long night. It is probably a bugged planet, I wouldn't be surprised if it disappeared in the next patch or version. It is interesting though having only half an inhabitable planet.

| ^That's not a bug, tidal locked worlds are a feature, and tend to appear mainly around small stars with little luminosity, including brown dwarfs. In fact, they're often the only living worlds you can find around brown and red dwarfs (other than living moons).

Well... Moons are technically tidal locked too...
