| Quote (Buster89) did you edit the Height shader to get that blueish desert (last pic) to look like that? if you did would you mind sharing it or just tell me what values you edited
The only edit is FOV. Sorry, I don't know what the height shader is. I am running default v.96 with the only exception of the gas giant and planet cloud shaders from Dr of Space. It is a wide angle image, ~FOV of 80 then a move into the subject with the W key. Creates vertical distortion. But those 'holes' are already very deep. For example: here is 50 degree FOV from the same planet:

| The nearly 7 kilometers in altitude towering western walls of Olympus Mons seen against a martian morning sun from a location roughly 140 kilometers west of the edge of the solar System's highest Volcano. (Landing site location at LAT 21°32'53''.98/LON -140°38'55''.67)
*Edit* Thanks smij and HarbingerDawn. How can I add the image as a clickable one for full size as in the first post of this page? Thanks a ton!

| @atmoscat, if the size (in kb) isn't too big, maybe upload onto the site itself?

| Quote (Atmoscat) Anyone with alternate image upload site suggestions? Thank you... If you have a deviantART account, you can use the sta.sh. If you don't have one, you can get one. Other file hosting services like Dropbox, YandexDisk, etc. would work too.

(Almost) a shepherd moon of this gas giant. Unfortunately, the moons in SE don't really get close enough to the rings to be called proper shepherd moons.
(better to view this in large size) Not my best shot or anything, just messing around with views. (actually, I was trying to find a planet to get a tatoonie-like shot, but couldn't find one that worked well enough, so I eventually decided to just go with this).

Thanks. Also, that one was taken during the daytime (and the location is near the pole, between 70-80N), so any planet shine would be washed out. Still though. It will be interesting to see how the new planet/moon shine handles multicolored gas giants like that one, probably use the main color of the planet which might be an orange color for this one.

| edited a Shader file to get the craters and mountains to look like that only disadvantage to it is that some planets have a crapload of craters on them and it looks really funky.

Nice! I like that first one. What kind of lens flare is that for the bright star?
