| Messed around with the Gas Giant shader files to see what I could do.
After images are in spoiler tags
Some minor issues but I think it looks much nicer.

Maybe it isn't anything complex that I did. I just started mixing shaders together from clouds, gas giants, and then found one that looked decent enough.
Here are a multitude of gas giants you can find using that setup
I just wish I could figure out a way to make the cyclones look better. I can remove them entirely but then gas giants look a bit boring.

| Here's a shot from the same planet, no filters or anything. I really like this video card, LOD 2 and varies between 30 and 60 fps at 2560x1600
Quote (Solaris) No Conquesti, I never use photoshop or edit the planet of the pics I post into this thread, I only use the in game graphic settings of SE.
RS 0-2-20-133-7318-7-1890832-50 B5.4, the colors should be the same, for the contrast, try disable real planet brightness (Ctrl+F4 for graphics window)

| Yeah I know enough with the gas giants, but I went back to HD 184889 3 to see how it looks with that setup.
Still purple and still my favorite

| DoctorOfSpace's new gas giant shader makes brown dwarfs scary...
I occasionally stream at http://www.twitch.tv/magistermystax. Sometimes SE, sometimes other games.

| Hello all.
Found a few great planets while running around the universe, there was especially that I zipped to that just happened to be in the perfect spot for a incredible screenshot. So I'll post the original, but I'd also like to post the version that I edited to make it look even greater.

Will do once I fix a few issues and figure some stuff out. I tried them on Earth but they still don't look right, also some bugs on planets that use coverage 1, the clouds don't work with that so you get a black/grey thing attached to them on those worlds.
These aren't only on Terras either, its on every planet that has clouds.

Quote (DoctorOfSpace) These aren't only on Terras either, its on every planet that has clouds. I assume you mean every planet with a surface? In any case, it's a lot easier to say terra clouds than terra/oceania/titan/ice world clouds :P
