| I was just flying around our galaxy minding my own business when I decided to stop at a random star, and BAM! I found this!

| I just noticed ANOTHER terra with life around the same brown dwarf, and YET ANOTHER living terra with TWO LIVING MOONS around its red dwarf companion star! 
5 worlds with life... Quite a lively system here!

| I was wondering the same thing about planets with life around brown dwarfs.
Found one myself in Andromeda few days ago as I posted in the other topic.
Weird place to live, def landlocked cold worlds even though I still have my doubts that a brown dwarf can host planets with life, but if you ask me, I'll still go for a yes cause the Universe can offer many things...though some scientists say Brown dwarfs won't have a stellar system like our sun, just some sub-brown dwarfs companions formed differently than other planets, thinking there are only a handful of them known yet, who knows.
Brown dwarfs are like impossible to find alone in S.E. cause they're almost invisible too!

Sometimes SE generates alone or binary brown dwarfs. They have a very low luminosity, so to find them, you should fly very slowly (1-2 parsecs per second) in the dense areas of galaxy (spiral arms or core).
Brown dwarfs emitts almost all energy in infrared, so planets (or should they be called moons?) orbiting them from a short distance can be warm enouth to handle liquid water. Some lifeforms (like extremophils) can be developed on these planets, and even develop infrared photosynthesis. But the drawback of brown dwarfs is that relatively they quickly decrease their luminosity and become cold as gas giant planets. So oceans on planets will freeze, but life can survive on ocean floor near thermal sources. SpaceEngine don't model evolution of stars and planets, so it just generates the life, if conditions on some planet are right.
