That's pretty neat, although I would use an airbrush tool or something to make the rim of the planet look less pixelated.

You could also take a screenshot at a higher resolution and then scale it down; most effective way to get rid of the aliasing (pixelation around the edge of the planet).

I've been really interested in the idea of an extraterrestrial civilisation going through the same discoveries and exploration that we have. These are basically just images that I imagine some might take during their exploration of space.

An alien version of Earthrise (their home planet rising over their moon as they orbit it shortly before landing):
