Earth-like planet with Earth-like moon

| Hey,
Found an interesting n nice spot in Toliman B (real world
I think is Alpha Centauri. It's a binary system with
a nice compliment of 5 planets.
One of them is a Comfort Class with Life
AND a moon that is also Comfort Class
but much less life. The moon is a brownish
planet with water oceans it seems.
I had one lovely few while flying about 5000 ft above ground,
where I could see two planets in the sky. I found it odd I couldn't
select one of them. So I pulled up, to leave the atmosphere,
and to my surprise, the other object was the Sun, clearly visible
from the surface of this Earth like planet in full daylight.
Would be very wierd being on planet like this in RL and
seeing the Sun shining so brightly during the day overhead. lol
Also in same system around Toliman A, there's a Gas Giant
surprisingly with gravity less than 1 g (huh???) with a bunch
of moons, two of which are terran, n one with water, with
gravity of only 1/3 of earths.
Toliman B is a Nice spot  New Favourite

| You found the system of Alpha Centauri (also called Toliman), it is not procedural - I made it myself manually. There is a gas giant called Polythemus with a moon called Pandora, orbiting Toliman A, and also some test planets orbiting Toliman B. All planets in this system are described in 'avatar.sc,' the system is not created procedurally, only the surface of planets are procedural.
SpaceEngine is open to creating add-ons (or mods) to introduce sci-fi planets/systems:)
PS: Surprisingly, more gas giant planets have "surface" gravity comparable with Earth's:
Jupiter 2.36g
Saturn 0.92g
Uranus 0.89g
Neptune 1.12g
Only Jupiter and Neptune in our Solar system has surface gravity greater than Earth's. But don't confuse free fall acceleration with escape velocity, as determined by planet's mass:
Earth 11.2 km/s
Jupiter 59.5 km/s
Saturn 35.5 km/s
Uranus 21.3 km/s
Neptune 23.5 km/s
PPS: I almost once found an outer solar system copy in the Large Magellanic Cloud. It had two warm deserts near its sun, next to a comfort terra with life (with one moon), next to a cool desert (with 2 moons), next to two gas giants, an cold ice world and another gas giant. Unfortunately, this system disappeared when I made changes in the SE generation algorithms

| Yeh I've barely looked at the galaxy, n not at all in other galaxies except for the odd
cruise through.
Yeh makes alot of sense... never thought about Gas Giant gravity before lol

| Found an interesting planet today on RS 8404-475-7-914125-67 8 Binary K6 star.
(definitely need a way to name planets and possibly stars) lol.
It's a beautiful Comfort class terra with life, though the land tends
to mostly be desert looking. Somewhat like a mountainous Death Valley.
Beautiful colours, and a lovely ring system around this planet.
Here's a nice shot I took on the surface (once it'd finished loading
the surface topography (took about 20 sec).
I guess the only life on this type of planet would be Cyano Bacteria type. That red
stuff is all over the planet in selected area near the oceans, probably some form of
exo algae or bacteria feeding on the soils n rocks. 
One day, eventually, hope to run into a lil alien guy making little beep beep
noises at me lol. Cool planet. Love the topography here, though there.
Check it out, it's over 5000 pc from the Sun.
Really a pretty place. There are a few other planets in this binary
system, mostly around this star they are warm selena class (desert).
Hey Vova, where'd you find the classifications of planets?

| One planet type you have to add, is a volcanic, rich organic chemistry, runaway greenhouse.
ie Io, Titan & Venus. You have to add an Io class, definitely one of the most
beautiful out there (aside form Earth).

| I was looking around Toliman and found 4 Terra's there, I thought wow, saw one called Pandora and wasn't sure if they got the name from the movie or vise versa. Looked on the internet for the other ones called bloop and bloop1 couldn't find anything. So all the planets are made up at Toliman? Does it even have planets because Celestia shows nothing.

| The planets at Toliman (aka Alpha Centauri) are indeed the ones from the movie Avatar, included in a catalog file in the program by SpaceEngineer as an "Easter Egg" of sorts
In reality Alpha Centauri has no known planets.

| I found data only about Pandora and only that its parent is called Polyphemus, it has 13 other moons and orbting Alpha Centauri A together with two other gas giants. All the others I invented myself, including size of moons and gas giants, their orbits and names (I used mythology related to Polythemus. Btw, name "Pandora" does not fit it). The planets of Alpha Centauri B were made as test planets and their names come from the words "blue", "red" etc. This is just my joke. But I think they're now fixed forever
