Warm Terra with multicellular life -- if you call 63 degrees C "warm." The landscapes are beautiful though. I can see this world as being like the steamy jungles of Venus we dreamed about before we knew what Venus was really like.
As a minor plus, the world is a moon of a gas giant, but the parent is too far away to make a huge impact on views of the night sky. You can just barely notice the parent world in the sky of the picture above.
While I've been buzzing all around the universe, this was a lucky find in our own galaxy while I was just trying to see what was on the other side from our own neighborhood.

| Found a binary planet (that what they're called?) Both are habitable terras, fairly earthlike in terms of gravity and sort of temperature. One eclipses the other which makes a really cool "double night" on both sides of the planet.
The science fiction nerd in me started thinking how humanity might be like if we lived on the eclipsed terra. The "greeks" would look at the night sky and see that colossal moon of a planet that is exactly around the same size of the Earth covering 70% of the night sky. Build their telescopes and observe life and the landscape of it. Then in the modern era, humanity colonizes that moon/planet. Since it is very similar to their original planet (and I mean veeeery similar. Only difference is that it's mostly desert and has an ocean near the north pole. So lots of resources.
Imagining different science fiction things like satellites that orbit both planets and an ISS that gets right in between both planets (don't think that's possible).
Interplanetary communication, in things like Omegle ASL but with an extra (16,F, terra2 Summer City). Looking at the planet above you with a telescope and spying on people (if commercial telescopes are good enough). I think this whole different reality would be more focused in space.
Oh I so wish someone would write a short science fiction story about these.

| Hi all,
I can't open new topics so this might be a tiny tiny hijack. Nevertheless relevant to terras.
I made an excel sheet that will help you figure out what kind of atmosphere your new found, initially good looking, terra has. This is version 2.
It's just something I made for the fun of it. I'm no planetary scientist... at all! but I thought I'd share anyway in case anyone liked it. Also - don't base your future plans to migrate to other planets on this. I might have gotten a few things wrong here and there. But over all it seems to be okay :-)

| connorneal2005, that was posted in 2011. Even if you did have that version of SE...
Tips for finding Earth-Like planets: Look for F, G, or K Class stars. M class habitables will almost always be tidelocked. Oceanias can, of course, also be habitable, they just have tiny amounts of land.

| guys if you know i'we found star i dont rembmber but it was

[color=yellow] ok i found second unknown dwarf galaxy... It was green acually one star only was in it, you guys did not know.. :/ idk.. So i found 480 stars in NGC4456009 strangle isn't it?

The perfect home for the rest of time! White dwarf for fuel, gravity boosts, and light. White dwarf kept alive by red dwarf which is hopefully too small to achieve critical mass. Planet orbits a brown dwarf providing radiation protection by its magnetic field as well as heat. Planet has 20% O2 but also 70% CO2 and only about 10% normal atmosphere... So fresh air... nope. Also about 60% normal gravity, it also has life on it! Fair amount of water but very long days... If colonists don't like that! There is another possible candidate in the same system!!! Yes with all of that there exists another home. Around a gas giant exists an ugly gray oceania that is also nice and temperate! It has about 1.1 normal atmospheres and 1 normal gravity. Atmosphere is not breathable. It however does have 38 hour solar days! So two places to choose from :D

| My favorite Terra is RS 8475-3-7-1065365-558 4
It looks a lot like an oceania But it is full of volcanic islands and just looks amazing from space.
Unfortunatly it doesn't have life though.

| HIP 29616 4 & 4.1
Binary Temperate Terras, near earth sized & equal to one another for fantastic eclipses. No life on either.
Both room temp and near earth Gravity. One's oceans are teal (43.7% Methane), the twin's oceans are blue (8.24% Ethylene)!
They are 231,600km apart, with 5.25 Rotational periods and a 9.75 Orbital period.
