JackDole, it's difficult, is that it is a known location ? A clue will not hurt.

quarior14,
I think the area is well known.
The base is obviously not real.
Of course it is science fiction. And presumably it does not look quite so, as most people know it.

Not if you solves the problem! Or try at least! dry

Or, if you wish, you can or someone else, make a new task.

I let my riddle so stand. Someone might still guess the answer!

But I suspect that many people do not want to answer such a simple question. When a riddle is too easy for me, I ignore it most. biggrin

I just need a few clues for it.

Is it in a plateau/flat area of mars?

What was the date and time in the given picture?

Is it near to any landscape features?

Is it in a plateau/flat area of mars?
It is very flat terrain, though, there are probably also some unevenness in the terrain.

What was the date and time in the given picture?
Date and time in the picture are hardly relevant, but if I remember correctly, it was from 2033 to 2035!

Not that I know of. Perhaps there are other well-known landmarks in the area, but I have no idea. But the area is very well known.

How is this possible for others to do it? A while back Kexxit gave me a challenge to find a blue sub giant star in a specific location, and I found it, it wasn't that hard. But how is yours possible?

steeljaw354,
If you do not know the story, on which is based the puzzle, then it is very difficult to solve.
But I think that a lot of people know the story. Especially here in the forum.

But I summarize what is known, and my hints.

-It is on Mars!
-The place where the habitat is, has a name.
-It's science fiction!
-Since my methods are limited to represent something like that, the station does not look like it should.
-It is very flat terrain, though, there are probably also some unevenness in the terrain. (As can be seen in some images from NASA)
-It is in the time from 2033 to 2035!

Yes.
(I knew the reference to the habitat was too much. That has made it too easy! biggrin )

It's your turn.
