| Perhaps on the right of Jupiter are Io and Europa. The shadow-casting moon is Ganymede. Callisto is either not in the picture, or behind Jupiter.
But it could also be that the two moons are Io and Callisto, and Europa is not in the picture!
Don't forget to look here.

| Quote JackDole ( ) Io and Europa Yeah, you got this part right, but that is absolutely not the shadow of Ganymede

I think that is not clearly determinable! The 'spot' could be, for example Mercury.

Or Venus, maybe also Ceres ...
Probably It might also be Pluto. It can not be Neptune and the other giant planets.
Don't forget to look here.

| Quote steeljaw354 ( ) Venus would be brighter and more yellow-white. Not if - seen from Jupiter - Venus is almost behind the sun. Then you look at the night side. This is the case with Mercury, in my image.
Don't forget to look here.

| Quote spacer ( ) zoomed in Yes, you guys are getting pretty close.
Quote JackDole ( ) that is not clearly determinable! Since it's so dark it cannot be a Galilean moon, but actually it can be any planet since you can't see so many surface details (the low image quality kind of broken the thing).
So tell me, which planet do you think it is? (it's not Ceres)
