It's been a long hiatus, I know, but here we go again!

Challenge #8

The goal of this challenge is to take the best screenshot to include a spacecraft. The focus of the image can be anything, but it must include at least one spacecraft somewhere in the shot. The spacecraft in the screenshot must either be default or ones which were publicly available on this forum before the challenge started.

There is no location restriction. You may take your screenshot anywhere.

You must make your submission by 23:59 UTC on Friday 31 January.

Your screenshot cannot be one which you took before the challenge started, it must be a new screenshot. You may only submit one screenshot. If you would like to change your submission after you have made it, simply edit your original post and replace the old submission with the new one.

The winner of the challenge will be chosen by popular vote. As soon as the submission period ends, the voting period will begin. The voting period will last for exactly 3 days. I will announce the winners after the end of the voting period.

All forum members are encouraged to vote on the submissions made by the participants. To vote, make a post in which you rate each entry on a scale of 0-10, with 10 being the best. Challenge participants may not rate their own entry. Challenge participants may abstain from voting if they want to (you don't have to vote).

And as always remember to post about any really extraordinary things you find while doing your challenge in an appropriate thread (such as the image dump) and mention its location and that you found it while hunting for this challenge, as you could win an award for it.

Oh, and it should go without saying that all submissions must be raw screenshots. No image manipulation allowed.

My picture isn't a montage, I just put the Hubble Space Telescope in front of the Moon and zoomed in from Earth.

Love Space Engine!

I wasn't directing anything towards you personally, just making sure everyone knew smile Though in your shot the edges of the moon show no noticeable aliasing, which is remarkable.

I'm not sure why it is so, maybe the Moon as seen from Earth is shown like that. smile

I read this as "Best screenshot to include a screenshot" at first and was starting to wonder at the metaness of that idea before I reread the title.
