Discovering objects and Easter eggs

Hello, fellow explorers. I've been wandering around the universe looking for the aforementioned new huge easter egg and have found no trace. of it, or of any old ones for that matter.

I don't want anyone to give it away, but has it been found and is it easy to find? I've searched around Earth and also at the center of galaxy RG 0-0-0-0-0 or whatever it's called, scanned the outer edges of the universe too.

Maybe I'm confusing the term "easter egg" and should use it in the broader sense of the term as a cool inserted extra rather than a hidden stamp or message from the designer as it is sometimes used in software, or a bit of extra footage at the end of movie credits. Maybe we're talking about strictly the addition of sci-fi planets then and I should look for them instead?

No spoilers please. I'm just looking for a hint. Thanks.

This thread is pretty old, and if I am not mistaken, this referred to the version 0.95 of SpaceEngine and the 'Cyrannus system'. ("The twelve colonies of Kobol")

It existed in version 0.95 and 0.96. Not available in later versions.

I've adapted it for SE 0974.
I have made only minor changes.
1. the parameters for life.
2. I have made the composition of the atmospheres for all inhabited planets just like the Earth.
3. I have made a Barycenter for Ragnar and its moon, because otherwise it does not work properly for some reason.

And I changed the order of the objects in the script to make it more manageable.

To use it, extract the zip file to the 'catalogs' folder and add to the 'universe.cfg' under

Star Catalogs // stars catalogs
this line:
Code
    "Catalogs / stars / CyranusBC.sc"

and under

Planet Catalogs // planets catalogs

this line:
Code
    "Catalogs / planets / Cyrannus.sc"

I saw this thread pop up and decided to take a look at it, and I too didn't notice it was this old, and ended up wasting a bit of time trying to search for it, and for that Avatar system. Both were taken out, it seems...

Anyway, thank you so much for sharing this system!!! The easter egg is even better than I imagined! biggrin
