| I have found some pretty big planets in space engine but there are bigger planets in the universe i know that so thats my challange find the biggest planet that you can find. It can be anyhwere in any galaxy and yes it can be gas giants since they are the biggest planets. So post a picture of the planet if you find one and good luck have fun and dont forget to say name since i want to see it and other pepole aswell.

| Here you go:
More than twice as large as Jupiter. This one is bigger than some red dwarf stars. (Which brings up the rather funny idea of a planet like that around a tiny red dwarf being bigger than its sun)
EDIT: Its name is HAT-P-32 b, forgot to put that. Its diametre is 291258.4 kilometres, or 22.833 Earth diametres.

| No moons that we know of; no exomoons have been detected yet at all, and SE doesn't make procedural stuff for systems that have more than just a single sun in it. The proximity of its sun makes it unlikely it would have moons, as the planet is likely tidally locked to its sun, meaning the orbits of any moons would slowly degrade.
As for why it's a planet: it may be huge, but it's not all that massive; barely heavier than Jupiter. Its density is incredibly low, that's what makes it so huge.

| Gonna keep an eye searching for one.
Incredible that HAT-P-32 b is actually a real planet.

| Yes, it is a yellow dwarf, though one twice as large as Sol. Here's a little shot of it and the planet side-by-side, taken from great distance so there are as good as no perspective effects:
Remember, the star is twice the size of Sol; if you imagine it twice as small you've got what that planet would look like in our Solar System.

| apenpaap, I know it would be a monster it would take upp alot of place due to its size a really nice find its fantastic that is a planet. I would be nice if you could see what the planet was mainly made of so we could know why its so big.

| Part of the reason it would be so big is that it has a puffed out atmosphere due to the heating.

| Wow, that's pretty impressive. And having roughly Jupiter's mass in a body with roughly twice the radius, that's barely 3% of the average density. Notice the surface gravity is only .57g. Crazy!

| anonymousgamer, g. wow thats very big thats probably the biggest planet that a stone planet can become i dont really think alot of big live would be able to live there due to its extreme gravity. How far away is it from its sun and what sun does it orbot i mean type of star.
