Absolutely brilliant job as always, Solaris smile If I find places to use these I definitely will.

EDIT: I think putting those two images side-by-side caused the post to get messed up wink

Lol, I was asking myself that.. Not a problem if I only have a skinny avatar's column .

Edit : it seem that you have a larger column. If that cause problem I'll change order of images.

It made everything wider, look at the right side of the bottom of the most recent post, near the the quote/edit buttons.

Solaris, you are evil genious. It is dangerous to subject unprepared people to such beauty!

These images should be added to SE's Facebook page. These are truly excellent.

Thx guys, I'm glad you like it smile

Robbie, I was thinking to add some of them to FB, but I'm not sure how to do it. With your suggestion, you meant add individual images changing time to time or to create a new album with the same purpose of this thread? I don't know what is the best..

tongue No chances.. But imagine a second the repercussion if a SE image would be posted as APOD...

We'd have ten thousand noobs demanding that Vladimir release a new version every six hours biggrin

If we did get some major publicity at some point after the release of the next version and when a crowdfunding option is running, then that would be really nice.

I just made this image to advertise new features for the next version. The aspect ratio is 2.717:1.000, same as a Facebook cover photo so it would work perfectly for that. Of course it is well suited for other uses as well wink

Solaris, if you want to set this as the FB page cover sometime you can. It's up to you though, since it doesn't look as good as your images (and there is still no announcement for when 0.97 will be released...)

UPDATE: Alternate version without blue planet on the left

UPDATE 2: Oops, noticed a slight mistake in the images, fixed now smile

UPDATE 3: Cropped version

UPDATE 4: Fixed the logo in all images

UPDATE 5: Forum signature version

If it's possible I would have your titled images alternate on the FB header page, similar to our SpaceEngine main webpage does at present, but I don't know if FB supports a page image refresh, if not, we should at least create another album for SE logos and titles. All of your pictures here are superb as always; and are great advertisements for showcasing SE at its best. smile

An album would be the best way to do it, Facebook doesn't support alternating images.

Very nice, and good idea ! It's a pity for the planet and galaxy overlapping in the lower-left corner, but it's hidden by the avatar pic on the FBpage, so no pb.
I'll place it as cover photo, much more advertising than any other image smile

I'll do that too, thanks for the suggestion !
(I'll make the change later in the day, I have to go right now..)

That was the only way to get the image arranged how I wanted it without any sharp edges showing. I thought it was subtle enough (but then again I was really tired when I made all these biggrin ) The intended effect was for this to be a collage, not to make it look like one natural screenshot, so the overlap does not detract from my intended look.
