AFAIK, it is possible to export Eve Online models with an exporter called "TriExporter". Textures saved as DDS and GR2 (which you can convert to OBJ with "evegr2toobj.2" program).

I tried to import them to SpaceEngine but becouse my lack of experience, i couldn't do it. I didin't used and posses any greater modelling program, this is maybe the reason why i am failed.

So, can i request some Eve Online models to be converted?

I'm not promising anything, but I might try to do it soon. I played EVE online a very long time ago, and as far as I can remember there are quite a lot of ships there, maybe you should make a list of ships that are worth converting?
And in the mean-time, try out my Mass Effect ship pack: http://en.spaceengine.org/forum/17-728-1

I am trying them. They are quite good. ^^

I can give you a quick list i think. For texting purposes, you can try to convert Titans. Amarr Avatar, Caldari Leviathan, Gallente Erebus and Minmatar Ragnarok. They are biggest ships of eve.

OK, I'll get on that, first, of course, I'll need to download EVE.

You could use the EVE 3D spaceship viewer to pick models, IMO they all look awesome (ex Minmatar). It's located here: http://www.eveonline.com/universe/spaceships/

Much hugs for you if you manage to import some of them!

Just a quick try, there is some bug with the texture, but I will figure it out, I'll work on it tomorrow.

OK, I figured out the texture bug, turns out it was actually a model bug... Anyway, I finished the Avatar and now will do the rest of the Titans. I will also do the Super Carriers, Carriers and Dreadnoughts, if there is any ship in particular you would like included, post it here.

What about this one?

I really like the look of this, haven't really played Eve much but they have some nice ship designs for it.

This can be a great inter-planetary ship.

I am actually thinking about discontinuing converting the EVE models, mainly because only the diff textures work. For some reason the norm, and spec textures don't work when I test it with Space Engine, which means there is no sun reflection, shine or 3d feel to the textures, so all of the ships look boring and unrealistic with diff textures only... I doubt it's worth continuing. Unless of course you guys don't care about it, and would like to have the models anyway?

Just speaking for myself, I don't even care about EVE, but some of the ships look pretty cool, and I wouldn't mind using them, regardless of normals and speculars (in fact, I think that there's something to be said for a non-reflective ship). I don't know what the EVE fans think. It's up to you though.

Well, if you put it that way, then there are surely more people who wouldn't mind the lack of sun reflection on their ships (not sure about the EVE fans though, because EVE is quite graphics oriented, with all of the shiny ships and lots of lights on them...), so I will keep converting the models, and those who will like them and will want to use them will be able to do so.
(Besides, I wouldn't leave a job half-finished cool )
