Following a suggestion by SpaceEngineer here, use this thread to post all scripts regarding double or multiple asteroids, using reference data for example from Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minor-planet_moon, Johnstons Archives http://www.johnstonsarchive.net/astro/asteroidmoons.html or the IAU Minor Center database and others.

Note:
Since data sources use values of Epoch that are very distant in time for many asteroids, their calculated position in sky relative to recent calculated ephemerids may vary from slightly off to completely wrong. This is expected for the algorithm used by SE at the moment, and not really important for a casual trip through the Solar System. By using a recent calculated Mean Anomaly (I took as reference JPL Small Body Database) we solve this small inconvenience.

Asteroids covered so far:

Others - No catalog number

2002 VT130
2002 XH91
2003 QR91
2004 PB108

Asteroids-bin.sc
Updated catalog for SE 0980/0974 RC2+ of binary/multiple asteroids is available here as attachment, containing all asteroids listed above, to be placed in SE data/catalogs/planets folder.

In Catalogs0974.pak, some of those objects are listed as single asteroids, or by other designations. The script Asteroids-Rem.sc, placed in data/catalogs/planets, will remove the duplicates.

(1862) Apollo, the original one who gave the name to an entire family of Near Earth Objects, a special watch list of somewhat dangerous rocks. Found as double asteroid since an Arecibo survey in 2005. Apparently not in SE catalog yet.
The script to be placed in data/catalog/planets it should be:

JackDole, I believe the values you and pzampella used in 1999 TC 36 are diameters, not radii. At least according to Johnston's archive.

You're right. I have corrected it. Even some of the other data. Although these data always vary, depending on the source.

For 0.974 RC3, I moved all binary/multiple asteroids into a separate catalog file, for ease editing. It is in the attachment. Could someone update it with newly added objects in this thread and attach it to the OP?

Note what dwarf planets are in the SolarSys.sc and should not be duplicated here.

It can be used with RC2 by saving to the catalogs/planets folder. To use with earlier versions, it should be added to universe.cfg, also duplicates should be removed from the asteroids.sc and asteroids-small.sc.

Attachments: Asteroids-bin.sc (7.9 Kb)

SpaceEngineer, I'm using a Barycenter even for binary asteroids with a bigger primary object, I'm doing wrong or it's better like you did in the script for SE calculations? I have this doubt.

Edit:
Updated Asteroids-bin.sc is in OP.
