| Found a warm terra with marine life near the middle of a globular cluster. There is barely any liquid on it's surface besides some small ponds.

| Finally made it back to the forums

Its a Temperate Terra with multicelullar life orbiting a orange dwarf with a 4 days rotation period!
The planet's beauty its in the north and south poles
Makes for good screenshots of mountains
I highly recomend turning the clouds off as they look glitchy on the surface

| Hello I am new here (Space Engine is awesome), I seem to be magnetized to planets with life they are of abundance for me. And this is one of my best findings in my opinion, I call it: The Planet Of Darkness, The Crimson Planet, and The Blood Planet (call it what you want) it is a Frozen Ice Giant with Organic Multicellular (aerial) life.

| This beauty may only have unicellular marine life, but given the age of the system, it hasn't had much time to evolve. Only about 400 million years old. It's also fairly cold, but my small understanding of stellar evolution is that the red dwarf will get hotter and allow it to support more life. It's almost exactly one earthmass.

Far far away, in galaxy at the brink of known universe, I found this rarity:
I didn't gave it any name yet, only number: EA4L-G35. Parameters of this world speaks for themselves. This wonderful, tropical terra is actually a moon, orbiting (along with 51 others) around huge gas giant. About 40% of it's surface is covered with ocean. Old, large impact craters (now mediterranean seas) tells us an interesting story about it's voilent past. There are no high, rocky mountains here, except for some great, lonely (but long dead) volcanoes, scaterred on it's surface. Btw, just look at these delicate, blue clouds in upper atmosphere!
This is actually a binary system. It contains two stars. Our star is heavier, K1 main sequence star, the secondary is M1 red dwarf (top right corner). They orbit around center of mass, far away from each other. Full orbital period takes over 12.000 years! And now they are almost as far from each other as possible. From that distance, red dwarf has -8,39 mag - high enough to make a dark nights a little bit brighter. :)
Let's talk about night sky a little longer. There is a globular cluster nearby. It's apparent size is 1deg, 12' and it's brightness is around 2 mag. A noticable amount of young, blue stars can also be found relatively close to our system. One of them, O4 main sequence star is slightly over 13 pc away (top right corner). It has a magnitude of -5,97, so it's much brighter than our Venus, and can be clearly seen at daytime. This supernova candidate will probably go boom within next milion years. Gamma burst from this apocalyptic explosion can inflict a devastating damage to all lifeforms on the moon's surface. Another bright object (-2,62 mag) is an A7 main sequence star (binary), only 1,2 pc away.
This terra has some cool features, and unusual day/night cycle. It's tidaly locked, so gas giant is permanently visible from one of it's hemispheres. From there, every night is very bright. It's darkest at the beginning (and at the end) and gets progressively brighter until midnight. When gas giant is fully illuminated, and shadow of our terra is visible at the very centre of it's surface - we know there is a middle of the night!
Daytime is also quite interesting. In the middle of each day, sun will set behind gas giant for about 70 minutes, allowing you to see perfectly dark sky, so different from typically blue-ish nights!
However, on the other hemisphere, day/night cycle looks quite casual, except it's 18 h, 11 m 43 s long. :)
Once per every 18 hours there is a moment, when moon is fully illuminated from both sides.
I think that's it. Have a good time while exploring this fantastic world. And don't forget to visit red dwarf too. It has some interesting planets as well, like really, REALLY hot oceania! (buggy, unless it's ocean of lava)

| This is weird. I don't use any mods, and my version of SE is 0.9.7.3.
EDIT:
I forgot to mention about something. Although this terra have mostly tropical climate, a vast areas around poles are covered with snow, and even (I think) a thin layer of ice. Those are not typical, kilometers thick ice caps, but even small glaciers looks great at sunset!
