This only works for stars with an oblateness of 0 (which includes HD 17525

Ah, but rotation necessarily produces oblateness.

I found this little guy only a few parsec from SOL. An ocean planet with life in a tight orbit around a Brown Dwarf. A lot of unusual things can turn up using the search function!

Yeah when i find 1 gas giant with floaters, all the other gas giants seem to have them, even if there cold or scorched, i believe this is a some sort of bug

I've also noticed that. Is it a bug or is it made on purpose?

I know. I'm saying that in real life every rotating star will have nonzero oblateness. Even the sun has some. For calculating rotation speed of a slowly rotating star, you can be pretty safe in pretending the oblateness is zero, but that will not be a good assumption for fast rotators. E.g. Vega.

Rotation speed is pi*diameter/rotation period. This only works for stars with an oblateness of 0

It works for all stars, or any spheroidal object, regardless of oblateness, since values given for diameter are equatorial.

I never new that, is it indented or is it a glitch? cause it does not seem realistic at all.

I found a temperate terra with multicellular life around a brown dwarf, however, the bottom is not strange to find planets oceans and terras around brown dwarfs because if they have a dense atmosphere that with the spring return greenhouse warms the planet

in some terras there are deserts but are caused by axial tilt means that there has never them the night but if the axial tilt is similar to the earth there are not deserts should put deserts real
