Hey Spaceengine crew. Wonderful work on this engine. I'm addicted You should totally try and license this out to companies. I would love to see something like this in games like Mass Effect or similar. This could obliterate the loading screen problem in those types of games and open up game exploration for the player. I am currently studying game design and would love to use and engine like this in a future game. Excellent work!
Fantastic piece of software. Really outstanding. Yes, it will make a great environment for a game. Hopefully, the game would also allow free roaming to explore the known universe as it curently does. I hope you can continue to develop this software and make refine it to work faster, smoother and bug free, as sadly, it crashes after a while and the planet surface updates can be slow or get stuck for more complex surfaces. And, I guess after that, you need to add more features like animated trees, plants, rivers, ocean water, life... animals?, alien cities? etc... maybe in the near future eh.... Anyway, great job, and thank you for sharing this.
I love this engine! Please dont stop making updates to it. I can't wait for alpha to be out, I hope there will be plenty of awesome new features! I would deffinetly pay for this!
