Very good simulator!But work slow.
Have you a function to generate all files at distance-radius?
It will be very good function for global server.
Building cities, mining, control of bases, cities, planets, it will be best space sim!

Smivs, check out in the forum the "linux support" thread, there is a way to make it work.

This looks awesome, but I can't try it as it is Windows only! Hope there will be Linux and Mac versions soon.

Great program, this is awesome! Gorgeous pictures and great conception. Now we need more spacecraft and a good scenario.

WOW! One of the most touching experiences I ever had! I tried to imagine how it would be, if you could go where ever you want to in space, with basically no speed limit or physical barrier... but I had no idea how impressive it would really be! Thank you for this.

I just discovered this program, and to say my mind is blown, is just an understatement.
Even before EA games made spore, I had the idea or well wish for such a game where you roam the universe.

Im still reading up a lot about the future plans for space engine, and wow.

Keep up the good work, this is just simply amazing!

And some more: could you add animated sun flares? That would be very cool! And supernovas too!

Hello

Amazing piece of software. I agree that Space Engine best illustrates the vast size of our universe. Something to improve: when I've landed on a planet and I decide to go to somewhere else using the G key make the "liftoff" part smoother. Now it just speeds too fast out of the surface of the planet and it's impossible to really appreciate the view. Also when sun goes behind the planets surface it would be nice if the lighting effect transition would be smoother. Now the lighting effect changes too fast.
