| In addition to the gas giants and ice giants already in SE, there's commonly believed to be a third type of surface-less hydrogen planet: gas dwarfs. These are worlds lighter than Uranus and Neptune, weighing only a few Earth masses, yet able to retain hydrogen and therefore having an incredibly thick atmosphere that eventually transitions to liquid deep down. Most of them are probably very cold, as light hydrogen could easily escape from such a light planet at high temperatures, yet the most famous known gas dwarf, Kepler-11f - which is only 2.3 Earth masses, yet has a density similar to Saturn - is quite close to its sun and probably around 500 Kelvin. I think it would be nice to see gas dwarfs as a new planet class in SE. And it's extra nice to have more planet types that aren't in our Solar System (it does seem a little suspicious that our Sun happens to have a nearly complete collection of planet types).

| Well, our System has no hot jupiters, superearths, oceanias, frozen terras, carbon planets, helium planets... It is far from a "full collection". Many of these types are already in SE, some waiting to be implemented.

| Kepler-138d is a gas dwarf in real life, but it is a warm desert in Space Engine.
