Close objects show up as green or white dots

This is probably not an error, I could imagine this would make it easier to find planets without suns and so one.
The thing is, it looks very unrealistic and I wouldn't want it in a recording.
Is there a way to disable it?

Man I feel stupid now tongue . I actually went and checked but didn't find it before. It has to be said that I'm hungover biggrin
