Hi,
I've come across this post in the FAQ:

It gave me an idea: How about using links when sharing locations on Space Engine? Location/Rotation of camera and time could only be specified to shorten the URL, but it would be an easy way to go to places others have found.
I think of this template: se:\\{Time: yyyymmdd-hhmmSSffff}/{Location:X-Y-Z}&{Rotation:X-Y-Z}
All browser know how to associate the protocol with the app, and open tit if needed.

Yes, and add the version number there. So if you trying to open location from different version, SE will print that this is impossible.

This is one of the best suggestions I've come across in a while
