different colors of plants for planets

I lost the original reference but I remember the research by Martin Cohen and someone else told that:
plants on planets surrounding F type suns are green-blue
plants on planets surrounding G type suns are green tongue
plants on planets surrounding M type suns are black(need more energy)

BTW, why only grass?

There already are different colors of plants. If you go to a red dwarf, it will be very dark.

I've seen purple plants too.

Also, you could have posted this in the general suggestions thread.

Because SE is still under development. SpaceEngineer has a todolist here. Under planets he has surface components, which includes plants.

It's not only grass. Look at the pack_terra.png texture in the textures/common folder. That is an atlas of detail textures that are used on planets (though broken in the current version, will be fixed in the next). There are many different types of foliage represented there. That is the only sense in which SE has any particular kind of plants.
