A few years ago I loooked at a game called Second Life, and one thing I recalled about that experience was that you could describe your location in the form of a secondlife://<location> url, which you could use in emails, etcetera.

Of course you have a great Objectfinder in Space engine, but I wondered, it is not possible to device a system like a url in the form of spaceengine://x.y.z.t for help to communicate precise locations in the Space Engien Universe to (for example) other users . You could then even have a url embedded system in SpaceEngine and Windows itself, so that when you click on spaceengine://0.0.0.0 you are transported instantly to the location (0,0,0,0).

I don't want to get into the debate where that is right now, I think everyone has it's own candidate for the center of the universe biggrin

Willem, the Places system in SE can already handle most of that. When you save a place, loading it will bring you to the exact place and time it was saved at, and with the same camera orientation. This place code can easily be shared with others by copy/pasting from within SE, or manually from the places config file if you're not in-game.
