Large scale structure of the universe

I don't know if Space Engine models the large scale structure of the universe.

I mean on the scale of filaments, or the Sloan Great Wall. It would be good if it did, or if the interface could make some of that detail available to the user.

Anyway - this paper may be of interest. More structure has been discovered.

SpaceEngine easy can handle 400,000 galaxies. Look on the screen-shots below. This was a test of '2df' and 'SDSS'2 galaxy catalogs, loaded into Engine:

In the TODO list I plan to implement procedural generation for such large scale distribution of galaxies. Procedural generated distribution will be continuous without gaps as clearly seen in these catalogs. I could probably merge real catalogs with procedural generated galaxies distribution.
