Pollux seems to be missing its name in SpaceEngine. Searching for Pollux won't find me any results. The star isn't missing, though, it's there, but it's nameless. Its planet is named HD 62509 b, and while HD 62509 is indeed a name for Pollux, it seems like a bug overall.

I locate the problem. Pollux's name is missing in script star catalog, wich overwrites default catalog. Open the exoplnets suns catalog (data/catalogs/stars/ExoPlanetsSuns.sc) in Notepad, find the HD 62509 star and change its name to "HD 62509/HIP 37826/Pollux/BET Gem/78 Gem". The script should looks like this:

Code

Star    "HD 62509/HIP 37826/Pollux/BET Gem/78 Gem"
{
     RA 07 45 18
     Dec +28 01 34
     Dist 10.34
     AppMagn 1.15
     Class "K0IIIb"
     Mass 1.86
     Radius 8.8
     FeH 0.19
}
