Running on a mac- exception raised

Hello everyone. I'm trying to run on my mac using Wine, booting up SE directly off of the file directory. When I do this, the launching window opens and then I get the "Exception raised- do you wish to debug it?" popup. I press either one, and then the window goes on loading, but seems to freeze indefinitely at "initializing file system"

Any ideas?

This is a WINE issue, so post on the forums there.

That is not very helpful.

There are plenty of users on this forum who use SE with Wine on Linux and Mac.

I've tried doing the things to fix the null messages and I changed it so it would accept my HD Intel graphics. so I'm not sure what else there is to fix.

If there are any codemonkeys around here I have the backtrace. Now the only error that occurs is wine telling me that a fatal error occured and that the application must be shut down.
Attachments: backtrace.txt (3.5 Kb)
