I have just built a gaming PC and downloaded SE. Everything runs smoothly and looks beautiful, but... When looking at some galaxies, planets and changing flare effects, I see some random RGB noise, weird pixelated pictures or the game crashes. I can send some pictures later. Can someone help me with this problem?

Pictures, PC specs, and log file would be helpful.

What you describe could be any number of things.

Intel Core i7-5820K 4.2GHz 6-Core Processor
G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory
EVGA GTX 980 Ti SC 6GB

Here are a couple pictures of galaxies. I tried to take a picture of the Earth but the game keeps on crashing every time I get close to it.

My computer has: MSI B85-G43 Gaming motherboard, Intel i5-4570 CPU @ 3.20GHz, 8Gb RAM, MSI GTX960 Gaming 2Gb graphics card, Western Digital 1Tb hard drive and 64bit Windows 8.1 Pro.
That should be much enough to run the game/simulation on full graphics without any problems.

I'm not sure where to find the log file though... There is one file called catalogs, but that's just a long list of PC code so I'm not sure if that helps much.

Look in your Space Engine > system folder; it's a text file titled se.log. You can add it to your post as an attachment.

Have you checked that your graphics card drivers are up to date?

Nikke95, disable texture compression in the F4 menu.
