On some nVidia cards, strange linear cracks appear sometimes in landscapes and clouds. It looks like one row of vertices disappears or falls down to the center of the planet. I can't fix this bug now, because I'm working with a ATI notebook. I will come back home after New Year and make bugfix patch.

Well, it's back for me. This is getting quite annoying. Do you know what the cause is, SpaceEngineer? If not, is there anything I can do to help identify it?

I found that the NVidia card sometimes incorrectly intitalizes the viewport for texture rendering. So landscape texture sometimes generates with empty (black) bottom row of pixels. I don't know why this happens, I still can't fix it. Maybe some bug in the new drivers... But the old versions of SE don't show this bug.

I narrowed it down to an option in CCC.
By turning anisotropic filtering from forced to application set, the spikes went away. biggrin
Might want to look at this, Space Engineer.

Thanks, I know about that. Maybe add a tip to troubleshooting forum?
