Saving Locations in between installs?

I've been running SpaceEngine perfectly fine for several months, enjoying each second in the universe; however, recently I've been encountering a myriad of graphical bugs and glitches: this includes an over-brightness of all celestial objects (such as blindingly bright galaxies and nebula with an out of place brightness visible for light years) and glitches on planets atmospheres with the disappearance of clouds and occasionally the planet becoming see-through. I've attempted to alter the settings constantly, but to no avail. In the end, I decided that the only choice was to reinstall the game itself. However, during my time with the game I had marked a plethora of interesting locations, and I really don't want to lose them.
If I reinstall the game, will my saved locations all be gone? If not, is there any way to fix the source problem itself?

Cheers, and thanks for your time! biggrin

Just copy your places.cfg file from your old install to the new one.

Ah, I had assumed that would only copy the default locations. Regardless, thank you!

Sorry for bothering, but I don't appear to have such folder. When I go to "open file location," it only shows names like EaxAc3.dll, glew32.dll, etc. Is there a chance any of these might be the places.cfg?
