The Earth's Moon orbit appears incorrect

The moon will not pass trough the Earth's shadow during the 2014 - 2015 lunar eclipses. It appears that the moons orbital inclination is off, which also means during a solar eclipse, the Sun's shadow will not appear on the surface of the Earth. I ran other eclipse scenarios as well, the results are the same.

I'm new to the forum. I hope this thread is in the right place. Space Engine Rocks! biggrin

This is a known issue. It's not that the moon has incorrect orbital elements, but that its orbital elements are variable. It cannot be accurately represented as a static Keplerian orbit. Fixing this issue will require implementation of support for custom orbit models.
