Trouble Installing and playing Space Engine

| I have tried this on two computers, both meet system requirements. On my faster computer when I start to install space engine it will begin to tell me that source code is corrupted for various items ( sometimes galaxy texture, sometimes music, sometimes planet texture ). When I try to install on my slower computer, everything installs correctly but when I start the program it gives me an error code reading "null (1,2) null" and cashes. Any ideas on how to fix this?

| Hello,
i have windows 7 64 bit ultimate installed and space engine 0.974
I downloaded earth and moon hq textures from the site and copied the files in the game folder like it says in the instructions. But they don't show up in the game. Is there something more to do, than it says in the instructions?

How did you install it? 0.974 is not a standalone program, it is a patch for 0.973 version.

Yes that*s right I patched the 0.973 as it's said in the instructions of the patch, now I have an SpaceEngine 0.974 file folder with my earth and moon files copied in it.....

Have you installed prior to installing version 0973, version 0972?
The correct order is:
Install version 0.972.
Extract Version 0.973 in your Space Engine directory, because that's just a patch.
Do the same with the patch 0.974.7.
Then everything should work.
Don't forget to look here.
