I've read the trouble shooting guide and my problem isn't answered at all.
After installing Space Engine it runs fine and I can use it in every way after installation.
But after closing it once, it breaks and refuses to even start up.I have to uninstall it and reinstall it to
begin one session of it.
It only starts a process described as 3D space simulator for 124K memory.
Please help; there are no other threads that answer this.

I've read the trouble shooting guide

Then you should be familiar with the procedure it lays out for reporting issues like this. You need to upload your log file.

Also, please read this: http://en.spaceengine.org/forum/0-0-0-36

I was having trouble starting it as well on Windows 7, I went for a hail marry and started it as Administrator and now it will start, not sure why that would work, maybe it will work for you?

So, yeah, can't boot Space Engine.

I get the splash, and then the screen pops up like it's going to start, and then "this application has crashed, windows is trying to figure out why...."

Windows 7 64bit, ATI 7770

Azirphaeli, read the troubleshooting thread, particularly the items related to AMD cards. Maybe try some of the things suggested there.

Harbringer, thanks but I didn't see anything in that thread related to the issue I am having, hense I posted the log.

Nevertheless, I changed the settings as described to stop crashes from happening when near distorted things and switching to rift mode, but it didn't help.

Now I know what the problem is:

Rift was plugged into my computer and it was on DirectToRift mode... and even though SE is not setup to use the rift at the moment (I have 3d set to "Off") it was causing the crash...
