Planets not showing up

Went from the most recent Nvidia drivers to the one right before it because of the known issue with SE. Now when i start the game the planets aren't there. The aurora are there, i can land on the planet, but the ground isn't there. I can see nothing but the stars behind where the planet should be. When i back away from the planet far enough i can get it to appear as the small dot of light (pretty sure that's a different render).

Just when i get close it disappears on me. Its strange i can land on it, and it doesn't show that its rendering any landscape cause there is none. I can see the stars that should be on the other side of the planet. When i land it slows me down like normal. If i travel around it moves me around like the landscape is there but its not. It does this on all the planets, earth and others not known. I tried a search but i couldn't find anything, if there is a thread please link it and ill let this one die. Oh and if you want screen shots just let me know ill go make some and upload them.

Last Nvidia driver that worked with SE was 337.88.

Tried on 347.88, all I got was a giant GPU freeze (and it did that on Watch_Dogs and Team Fortress 2 also), but at least the Lens Flares and HDR stuff was working and enabled.

Of course I deleted the cache folder after the update.

But the thing is, back when I was on the 347.88 driver version (and it was the latest, so before July 29th) everything was working beautifully.

I have a brand new computer, so I don't think other things are interfering with this.

Weird ...

That sounds like a driver conflict where the newer driver was improperly removed. Since this negatively affected other games it may be a registry error or something else.
