| Hi, I have tried SE first on a 32 bit window 7 and it all was all very decent, but recently I upgraded to win 7 64 bit. I installed Space Engine, but this time things were not right. There are more lags and a lot of things are just wrong: somehow local stars appear as colored balls without diffraction spikes and some strange 2d planet textures flash in randomly at the planetarium screen as well as on the planetary system (F2) menu. Also, the water looks horrible and some the randomly generated surfaces are a mess... what could be the problem? please help :/

| Have you tried:
Updating your graphics card drivers?
Re-installing Space Engine?
Taking a look at this thread?
Also, attach your se.log from the Space Engine directory, so we can see any problems. And it's not the 64 bit system, it works fine on my computer and it's 64 bit.

| Quote cnaeus ( ) I have the latest graphics driver
Roll back your drivers to 337.88 and then delete the cache.

| Would like to add that the nvidia 340.52 driver update introduced a whole host of graphical anomalies identical to the original poster for me as well on a GTX 680.
Rolling back to 337.88 & clearing the cache resolved the issue. But something in that driver release isn't playing nice with spaceengine.
Log is likewise full of shader load failures. Attached for reference.
