I have seen YouTube videos where the pointer is a roundish cross hair where mine is the normal x cross and i have not seen any planets with evaporating atmospheres and finally when i double click a planet (in the F2 menu) with moons it does not show the moons in the menu but when i see videos that do the same thing they show the moons. Sorry about the english. Its not my first language.

That is because when recording SpaceEngine (using the built-in video recorder), the GUI cursor can display instead of the system cursor in the recording output. By default, this is disabled when you're just using the program.

To enable the 'roundish cross hair' cursor, go to your config/main.cfg file, and set "GUIGraphCursor" to "true".

Just look for planets with atmospheres that are really close to their parent stars (often gas giants), there is a chance they might leave gas trails. They're not very hard to find, just make sure Comet trails are turned on.

That's because you don't have to double click a planet in the star system browser, you have to right click it, to see its moons.

I will be inactive on this forum for the time being. Might come back eventually
