Issues getting SE to work on Mac (10.9) with Wine

| I'm trying to get SE 0.97 to work on my iMac running Mavericks (10.9), and I can only get as far as the splash before getting an error message that I have an outdated version of openGL, and it's saying that I have version 2.1 when in reality I have 3.3. It then says, "Unhandled page fault on write access to 0x00000008 at address 0x601325. Do you wish to debug it?" No matter which option I press (yes or no) it quits. Does anybody have any ideas?
Computer stats:
-2008 or 2009 21.5" iMac
-ATI Radeon HD 4670 256MB
-Wine version 1.4.1.5
-Mac OS X 10.9.2 Mavericks

| I have the same issue, minues the openGL thing. I get that exception raised, and no matter what I hit it gets frozen on the "initilaizing files" thing or whatever.
