Objects further away vanish when approaching a planet/star?

| Hello!
This annoying problem recently occured.
When approaching a star or a planet, other stars/planets/galaxies/nebulaes etc. that are too far away simply vanish as if the magnitude was reset. This is particularly annoying if you enjoy making screenshots, like I do. :/
I recently updated my driver and deleted the cache to get rid of the invisible object bug, fyi.
