Cannot load Planetarium

I downloaded SE yesterday, but I cannot get it to load up. I get as far as the planetarium loading screen and then the loading indicator freezes and the program crashes. I've tried different loading modes and I have set the VRAM setting in the config down to 1000, as I don't have 2048mb of VRAM. This is what I have for hardware:
- Intel HD 3000 graphics card (1500mb of VRAM?)
- 3rd Gen i5 at 2.4ghz
- 8gb of RAM
- 64-bit Windows 7 (if it helps)
Any suggestions?

Have you tried looking at the Troubleshooting thread?

EDIT: Also, Intel HD video cards don't work very well with Space Engine, so there's that too.
