Hi!
I saved a place through the Location window, and I was able to go back there in the same game session, after being in other places. But the day after, clicking on "Go To" doesn't produce any effect. And writing the location to the "Find Object", gives the result "Object not found". I have read in the forum that this can happen if you use different versions of the software, but I was using the same version. The location is the following:
Place "Terra with life. Two suns. In globular system in Triangulum."
{
Body "RSC 1190-2330-2-56-59 B4"
Parent "RSC 1190-2330-2-56-59 B"
Pos (2.973987934173569e-011, 8.178703715796751e-011, 5.178895544832515e-011)
Rot (-0.7447293687551777, -0.3994715632717053, -0.5328601644796935, 0.04313562983716025)
Date "2013.09.22 18:04:36.25"
Vel 1.2637733e-013
Mode 2
}

Thanks a lot in advance for your kind reply!

The only thing I can think of is that it may have been a bug related to asynchronous loading mode, a "seed changing" bug, where some things were re-randomized. Did you change to interleaved loading mode (LoaderMode 1 in the main.cfg file)? If not, try that and see if anything improves. It won't bring back the disappeared system, but it should prevent anything like that from happening again, if that was the cause. However it will cause a loss of performance when generating stars and galaxies.

Also, when I checked that location I found nothing, so perhaps nothing being there is the norm and a glitch caused there to be something there for you that one time.

Nevokron, the location RSC 1190-2330-2-56-59 B still seems to work (at least for me), but RSC 1190-2330-2-56-59 B4 doesn't work, because it ends on B4 while it should be B 4. Perhaps you should try going to RSC 1190-2330-2-56-59 B 4 instead? Oddly, unlike you assumed it's a Titan and not a Terra with life.

I will be inactive on this forum for the time being. Might come back eventually

No, B4 would be correct. It will never be "B 4". You entered B 4 and it just redirected you to 4. I get the same system as you, RSC 1190-2330-2-56-59 4 is a titan, and there is no RSC 1190-2330-2-56-59 B4.

I didn't change anything, but I found it to be set to 2...

It is really sad, I got somehow fond to that place... A living planet with a bright day and a pale blue night... Fortunately I did a video and a couple of pictures, which I'll post in the right section and title them "The lost planet" or something different not to infringe any copyright. wink

P.S.: This is my second post here and just wanted to say that SpaceEngine is really a great piece of software. Since I discovered it, I fell in love with it! Keep on the good work!!!
