How do SE exoplanets' wiki orbital inclinations work?

My attempts to discover how SE calculates the wiki orbital inclinations came to nothing, as the wiki's inclination is apparently neither inclination of the planet to its parent star's equatorial plane nor the commonly used "inclination to the reference frame perpendicular to line of sight from Earth".

SE uses ecliptic plane as reference, even for exoplanets and binary stars. I know this is incorrect, but I still haven't put my hands on it.
