When you go into the galaxies realm in SE 0.97, the galaxies are too dim. Even if you have the exposure at 1. I compared it to 0.96, and the galaxy realm was fine and you could see. Does anyone else have this problem?

Not a problem for me, no. Some galaxy models are a bit dimmer than before, but within the galaxy it's fine.

Although the stars are a bit dimmer and harder to see sometimes than before, if that's what you mean.

Something like that, and I just raised the stars scale in the options, apparently it does that to the galaxies as well.

Actually the galaxies aren't too dim at all.

I usually set my galaxy brightness at 4.200 (4.2) and in some certain situations even between 4.5 and 5.0 (not for spiral galaxies though)

Also, I realised that even tho you would be 300 kpc (1 million ly) from the Milky Way, the Andromeda and its satelites would only be visible including the LMC and SMC and a few Milky Way satelites. All the other galaxies have app. mags. of way below +10

So just turn on auto increase galaxies magnitude.
