Hi, thank you for the speedy response! I thought so, as well. But, when I removed the shuttle entry from the spacecrafts.sc file and loaded SE, the shuttle was still there. I'm so confused. xD I don't have any multiple instances of the program I'm working with, either. O_o

That should be impossible. Check the universe.cfg file to check that the spacecraft catalog you're working with is indeed at the same location specified by the program, and check that you're not somehow working with a duplicate or that the file is not read-only somehow (stranger things have happened).

Huh. Well, apparently, Windows didn't like the fact that I'd unzipped SE into my Program Files (x86) directory, and it was a permissions issue. What I wouldn't give for SE to have a Linux port. *heaves a wistful sigh* But that's for another thread. wink Thanks for the help!!

Some possibly interesting/useful stuff related to that in this thread.

I cant seem to use the old NXO1 startrek ship model. I would really like to use that texture as the new one does not have the metallic looking reflection of star light and I cant seem to get any help on this issue yet I am sure it is possible. also I would like to know how to open an .sm file. I have read the tutorials on ship import but for the average person it can be confusing in certain areas. But anyway any help with especially the first issue would be appreciated very much

AmericaisBabylon, this is the fourth post you've made about this in the past day. You've already been told not to do it, and I know you know the rules. You need to wait for someone to help you, if anyone can. DoctorOfSpace is probably the only person who can do what you want. Send him a PM if it's really that important to you.

Do not spam a topic like this again. One post is enough.

Sorry mom I thought I created a new thread.. You really go out of your way to make this sight like a prison yard rather than something enjoyable for everyone. I hate even having to post something out of fear of not doing something just perfect or getting a smart remark back for a simple question in past posts of my own and other. I say this with all due respect!! And I will do my best to better follow forum rules and hope to not make mistakes...
