I see you tried to remove an eye of the cyclone. Why do you dislike eyes? biggrin

And...

Code

         if (cycloneRadius < 0.0)
             weight = 1.0 - pow(1.0 - cycloneRadius / 0.0, 2);

shok shok shok

You have divided it by zero!

nono

Also, cycloneRadius would never be lower than zero because of this:

Code

         cycloneRadius = length(cycloneCenter - point) / cycloneSqrtDensity;

I like the way they look without an eye. Plus it seems to add more variations to the mix rather than a bunch of hurricanes.

All I can say is, looks awesome with the new edits smile

Also, I'm with DoS in that more variety with the hypercanes is good.

Anyways, Is there an updated color file that I need to download as well or just the height map file on the previous page?

Just the height is all that is needed. besides the division by zero the file in my last post on the first page should be fine.

The black clouds on cloud covered worlds problem is still there for me. I have both the modified color file and the modified heightmap file. Or do I not need the color file anymore?

Restore the original color file. All you need is the height from the last post on the first page or you can use Space Engineer's.

I see, thanks.

Oh, no prob, and I missed the zip file back there, or maybe I passed it over since you had a newer version of the height file.

I also like having cyclones without eyes, at least most of them. Most cyclones on Earth do not have eyes, only tropical cyclones do. Extratropical cyclones are more common. Even many tropical cyclones do not have well defined eyes.

Plus it gives variety to those hypercanes on tidally locked worlds.

miros_0571, what you say makes no sense. Who said anything about getting rid of cyclones? All I said is that not every cyclone needs to have an eye.

That is not related to anything that anyone has said...

Miros, I am curious, what is your native language?
