Forgiving bans?

| ...Under what conditions will the "Ban/Reproofs" percentage (under a user's Profile) actually decrease? I've seen some pretty high values (80% in BlackArk's case), and I was wondering, since bans increase that number (20% in each case), what can decrease it? Good forum behavior? Making a spaceship/mod? Getting a reputation over +100? I want to know what will reduce that number. I DO NOT want BlackArk to be perm banned on the next offense! That wouldn't be nice!  When will you ever forgive them for those past offenses and reduce the ban percentage by the respective amount? You should do that after a while. Maybe 2-4 years will do, depending on the offense.
P.S.: don't decrease the percentage of known spammers, because we don't need them flooding the site.

The same conditions that cause it to increase: when a moderator finds just cause to decrease it. It has happened before. And if you want BlackArk to not be banned, then just ensure that he abides by the forum rules. He should be an expert on them by now, he knows what to do. As for how "not nice" it would be if he did get banned, no one on this forum will ever receive a permanent ban unless there is a very good reason. So if someone does get permabanned, then there's a very good chance that it was they who were being "not nice", and not the moderators.

| What about XMINEIROCREEPEIROGENERALX? I know the name is a bit too long for a normal user, but under his/her profile it says "Activity Blocked Forever". WHY on Earth does it say "Forever" if the ban percentage is ONLY 40%? That's only supposed to be 2/5 of a permaban. I thought permabans needed 100% or more (if that's even possible)! Was it a spam/porn account? If not, Could you please reduce the ban period to a finite length, or even unban that member? Why? Because, first of all, I think it's a bit UNFAIR to permaban someone unless the reproofs reach 100% (except for true spammers). A 40% permaban is completely wrong! It would be like saying 20+20=100, which makes NO sense whatsoever.  Even then, they may eventually be unbanned after a while, if and only if you decide to do so. Also, you need to make the system a little bit more flexible. 20% intervals are not fair enough, and should be split into 5%, so that the 1st major offense makes 5%, the 2nd 10%, the 3rd 15%, and so on, making 20 to a permaban instead of 5. You should make reproofs automatically expire after 2 years or something, even if the ban period is shorter, except for spam accounts (in which case it would be 3-10 years, depending on the severity). That will give the user time to think of what they did wrong, then they can apologize for their wrongdoings when their bans expire. So please unban that user and give at least 3 more chances for him/her to be good.

| Stargate38, I am not going to sit here and explain to you how every single banned account got its ban. I already told you that all bans occur for a reason, and anyway public discussion of this nature is against forum rules:
