but author could at least give credit to SE as a source of textures

Ringle is the one that stuck out at me.

I already thought so.. I just wasn't sure enough what to do

I'm probably a little too excited that I finally got to release this addon - sorry

Planet at 6:00 looks very similar to SpaceEngine's ice world with rayed craters, cracks and color pattern

I already thought many planets of that mod were like Space Engine's procedural worlds.

Perhaps they're using generated textures from Space Engine export? smile

And they do not mention the source. I must disable textures and skybox export in the next release. And hide shaders somewhere.

Gee that is not good they ripping stuff off SE, even if they knowledge the source, they should get permission first. Is that a official addon or user mod?

I like KSP but think Orbiter is better.

No, was a user addon

I hardly think crippling some of the more useful features of SE because a single person misused them is a good course of action.

Plus the mod thread was closed and links taken down.

I like the exported textures so much, I don't want them to be disabled. Please don't...

I agree

Ringle is definetely from Space Engine. I have seen too many ice worlds in SE to not recognise one outside of the game. Although I agree that this was unfair on their side, I also think that disabling an important feature just because of one isolated case is a bit excessive. Maybe Space Engineer should contact the mod author and request him to put a source to space engine?

Work in Progress:

The Jumbo X8 Space Station SSTO

Haven't gotten it to space yet, but I'm nearly there. Working on stability right now.

Currently, it weighs in at 366 tons. Once it gets to space, other ships can dock to it and deliver fuel to the plane or vice versa. Semi-permanent modules might also be added, for example living quarters.
